About me

I began my career in healthcare working in acute medicine, and more recently as a nurse practitioner. I still work full time as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in a GP surgery.

I am halfway through my masters, and have completed independent prescribing, advanced health assessment, diagnostics and clinical reasoning.

I began working in aesthetic medicine 4 years ago, I am independently insured and have undertaken training in advanced dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.

I am a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and Aesthetics Complication Group Experts (ACE), and most recently became an accredited Save Face Clinic and practitioner.

What happens to the skin as we age?

Understanding this can help you identify what treatments you may benefit from (there is a lot on the market and it can be overwhelming), however I am also on hand to help advise and guide you.

As we get older our skin goes through a number of changes, resulting in visible signs of ageing.

Reduced levels of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin can cause dryness, volume loss, uneven tone and deepening lines and wrinkles.

Skin ageing can be affected by multiple factors including the environment, sunlight, smoking, alcohol, diet, hormones, genetics and age.

Aesthetic treatments offer some incredible benefits to reduce the appearance of ageing skin, but it's also essential to recognise the limitations. It's Important for me to raise awareness that these medical grade treatments are not a ‘cure all’ solution.

However, with my support and advice we will aim to enhance your natural beauty and restore what time has taken away, to help you look like the best version of yourself and boost your confidence.
